Dear stakeholders,
Since its founding in 2000, i-SENS, Inc. has grown by researching, developing, and manufacturing advanced diagnostic medical devices across the full spectrum of Blood Glucose Monitoring (BGM), Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), and Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) using its own proprietary technologies, in order to deliver better diagnostic solutions to customers and patients worldwide. Our growth has been based on its mission to contribute to global health and on responsible business conduct, which aligns with the direction of ESG management required of corporations today.
Sustainability is more than a set of external assessment criteria; it is a core management principle for responsibly managing a company's impact on the environment and society, and for achieving sustainable growth through transparent and sound governance. We will go beyond compliance with laws and principles to fulfill the responsibilities expected of a global healthcare company.
Since 2023, we have been strengthening our sustainability governance system, expanding employee training and execution initiatives, and embedding sustainability management across all operations. We have continuously participated in the EcoVadis assessment, earning a Bronze rating in 2023 and a Silver rating in 2024. In 2025, although our absolute assessment score improved year-over-year, the overall rise in global assessment standards resulted in a Bronze rating. We will treat this outcome as an opportunity for further advancement and continuously raise the management level of key areas including supply chain, ethics and compliance, environment, human rights, and information security.
In addition, through a Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) jointly conducted with external stakeholders and internal employees, we identified nine key sustainability management issues. At the center of these are product safety and quality, the trust of customers and patients, workplace safety and employee health, patient data protection and cybersecurity, R&D capabilities, and ethics management. These represent the areas for which i-SENS, as a medical device company, is essentially responsible.
Going forward, i-SENS plans to ensure that all employees participate in ESG management together, and to grow alongside customers, patients, shareholders, employees, suppliers, and local communities by placing sustainability at the heart of management. As a responsible global diagnostic medical device company, we intend to contribute to the development of the Korean and global healthcare industry and to building a healthier future.
Thank you.
